Legend:
On the top of the grids, V = a downstroke, and, ^ = an upstroke, with the plectrum. Where there is no indication, assume that the chord / note is played with a downstroke.
On the left side of the grids: Red Square = String which is silent. Black Circle = String which is played.
Frets are represented by Black numbering at the bottom of the grids.
Plectrum hand positions are given on the right of the grids:
P = Plectrum; 3 = Middle digit (2nd finger), 4 = Ring finger, etc., the thumb is assumed to be holding the plectrum, along with the Index finger. When these positions are joined by a vertical line, it indicates that the strings are to be played simultaneously.
Fretting fingers are denoted in Blue. A horizontal blue line, indicates a slide up to the next note / fret.
Additional information, such as plectrum / finger-picking patterns, etc., is given above the afflicted chord.
The opening eight bars are formed out of 6 separate steps:
P, 3, 4. (Twice) P, 3, 4. (Twice) P, 3, 4. (Twice)

This progression is repeated; the last 'P, 3, 4.' only played once on the repeat.
